AC schnitzer springs g30 540i adaptive suspension results

Its amazing now.. the handling. It improved so much i couldnt belive.

Adaptive mode it works like a charm now.

New springs are ticker and lower. Slightly 20-25mm does the job.

Its comfy as well.

AC Schnitzer at Kings Lynn did the job right. Highly recommended.

The wheel geometry its hard to get it righ on these g30. Tested at the moment only
till 160mph. Its completly diffrent car.

Mine got electric dampers, i didnt like them much as the car felt far to soft. Now its as it
should be.

It handles now like rs6 I drove.

Your car looks really good. Those springs look like they dropped it quite a bit lower than I was expecting. Or it could be just that way because of the 20" wheels that fill the fender gap nicely and the side skirt/front lip give it a lower appearance.

I have the Dynamic Handling Package so I assume these springs would work for me?

Do you mind listing what front lip, side skirts, and rear diffuser you have? Looks like it's al gloss black except for the rear diffuser which is a matte?

Well done, sir!

Rear diffuser is m5 style. I think black matt look more bad ass.
Some cars comes with black matt. Makes it more visible.
M5 cars got that painted in colour of the car. But it makes if small and ugly i think.

- AC schnitzer springs - ive got adaptive suspension. Was looking for top handling like I had in rs6 / s4. Beacuse it was to soft with bmw springs even in sport
- rear diffuser m5 style from ebay (perfect fit and quality)
- exhaust armytrix with chrome tails pipe.
- rear spoiler - cant remember but Ive bough it on ebay.
- side skirts (mperformance genuine).
- mperf wheels (genuine)
- front hood Ive bought it from m5 f90. (Has been resprayed). To match colour.
- front lip its mepferomance style from ebay (non genuine). Will be replaced with AC Schnitzer corners. These look really good.
- head lights - rear + front - protected with black ptfe. Lowest tint possible. Just to get some shade on them.
- badges bmw - got them tinted with same film as lights.
- m sport badges and m40i badge comes with m140i genuine badges from ebay.
- got tinted inside cabin lights. It was to bright for me
- Ive replaced bmw wheel cups with genuine caps that spin while you drive.
- akrapovic downpipe b58 from m140i has been fitted
- mhd flash stage 2 , ron102 - pump out 480bhp on dyno (mhd claimed 470 only)
- k&n filter. Just the pad itself. Ive keep original intake.
- modified cooling to keep D in 95C instead of 106C +
- front grill is m5 style non genuine.
- mirror caps painted in black
- radio antenna painted black
- adaptive front grill shutter. Ive bought 2nd hand motor and I left flaps all the time open and I conect wire to 2nd hand motor and attached with cables ties to frame. This way bottom shutter works fine. Dosent disable it!. Not DTC on dash.
Just information that top shutter is out of range (non critical ) .

Also Looking now to get wheel spacers i think 10mm and 15mm rear from AC Schnitzer.

I also coded few options with bimmer code and mx+ adapter. Like:
Start stop off - on startup
Seats heating temp changed for each level of heating.
All codecs support
Video in motion
Alpina style clocks
WIPER SENSITIVITY - changed from factory sensistive to normal. (Now these works as it should be).
Number of wipes from 3 to 5 after spray.
And few other tweaks to make it more optimal.

I also bought laptop with ista -d.

Ive reset clutches adaptations and transferbox wear. After in my friends garage gearbox oil change.

It feels now very sharp. Massssive diffrence on gearbox.

Waitig now for xhp to add 8hp50 gearbox from 540i . Want to have it running at stage 1.

I also stop using oil 0w-20. I only use now 0w-40 genuine twin power turbo oil. Massiveee diffrence on high rpms!!.

Its really powerfull now with xdrive.

I am searching for:

US style day lights (with indicators on).- to code it.

Start/Stop

I have a 2018 540D. I've all but begged the dealership to disable the start/stop function. Was told they couldn't do it! Was easy to do on my 2017 X5 as it remembered my setting with each startup. Not so with the 2018 540D. I see in your list of recodings that you were able to illiminate this function. Any suggestion as to were I could turn to get this done. Only peeve I have with an otherwise fine car.

Sorry to reply to an old post but I fitted acs springs to my g29 and also felt that the ride improved over stock, good to hear the same applies to the g30 as it’s difficult to find reviews on these things.

Am considering this for my G31, does yours have adaptive suspension?

Eey, sorry about the late answer. Not the most active on the forums🫣.
Yes, mine have both adaptive suspension and active steering, on the rear wheels allso. If that even matters?😅

Did you install spacers in addition to the lowering?

No, i do not use spacers. Dont need it on the summer wheels since they fill out good. Have been thinking about it for the winter wheels, so maybe for the next winter season😀
