What we can do is to keep things very "similar" and at least try to see some close-enough results.

goddamn. some people just don't understand.
As long as following conditions are similar, we can pretty say the difference is minimal(again, not accurate nor perfect) for at least what we have right now in year two thousand fucking six:
-Outside temperature -Humid -Engine bay temperature -CEL check -minimal mileage difference on the car -gas used - same power fans @ same power - same dyno facility

This is tuning world, and this is how we most likely do it.
If you disagree, and want to keep up with your scientific theories and controlled environment crap, take it to NASA or something. this is not a place for you.

Other way around. Smart people don't "sound" smart to others.
blah..blah..blah..now you're just boring me.

Oh, and I'll make sure and remember the "I'm not smart" thing when I'm walking across the stage in December and receiving my 2nd Masters degree. It will so destroy the moment for me.

Once that occurs, any attempt to create a "comparison" is null and void. End of story.
if you think too hard, you might explode sir...
anyways, how is it null and void? we are going to see a HUGE increase in HP and while we dont know exactly how much HP the catback will give to the car, it certainly cant be anything to big like 20HP+ which is what is going to happen i bet.
And BTW while i had this installed, my car stalled out on the highway TWICE! in one day! my steering wheel locked and i went into a gear to turn the car back on..(i was in neutral coasting when it stalled) this has not happened since the intake was removed, about roughly a few weeks ago....yet it cannot be the intakes fault.....its definatly the underengineered BMW POS, right?.....

Hunter raced the same stock 325 this time and beat it. I don't think the gain from the catback alone could account for a car going from getting beaten badly to winning. So there must be some other factor to explain why its going so much faster now....but draw your own conclusions.

You should go back and take a look at your posts and tell me which ones boring.
If you feel that you have nothing else to say, keep your worthless post to yourself.
i.e. your master's degree.

You and your master's degree. Yeah, Im sure you are very smart.
Just let me know where you will be working, I'll make sure not to go there.

I think it's funny. I've been studying for finals this weekend so I needed something to make me laugh. Besides it doesn't bother me, I've been called worse things by better people....

when a human being loses alot of money on betting, they do get quite out-of-control. No, don't ask me what it was.

on a serious side note, matsarge had a great speech on controlled environment which I would definitely agree if it was given somewhere else. I mean, they were all valid, correct statements and obviously coming from someone who is very much educated. He just does not understand the tuning trend. thats all.

I have the Fujita installed on my car for a little over a week now.

No experience with the irregular revving or stalling or uneven power band that people or speaking about. I think someone even mentioned a sulphur smell -- not happening on my install. In fact it actually feels like the car is faster sometimes - but I think that's just the sound. Definitely no noticeable decrease in hp at any rpm.

Personally it's a little too loud in my opinion - especially the little rumbling sound you get at lower rpms so I'll probably be throwing it up on eBay.
