i have two dobermans. this thing is great. protects the doors as well.
I use the hammock as well in my E39. I have WeatherTech door protectors still in the package and for sale here. I have four cars, my German Shepherd is allowed in three of them, the M550 is out of bounds. It's more about the hair than damage.
yeah luckily i'm all black interior lol nose prints are my worst pain.

I'm all black too, but a Longhaired German Shepherd sheds different than Dobi's and other short haired dogs. Both just as bad, but the short hair is easier to vacuum and it's buries itself in the carpet, long haired shedding is like tumble weeds.

Big dogs just do damage. Damage to the home, the backyard and cars. As OCD and anal as I am, I love the dog more than the property. If one of my kids scratched my Piano Black trim, there would be hell to pay, LOL!

So true about the kids. My hardwood floors are in shambles from having large dogs.

Great thread by the way!!!
He's huge! How many pounds?
About 130lbs.

It must've sucked to be our cat as she was bigger than him when he was a pup. Didn't last long though!

We thought about a second dog. We just did over our house from head to toe including new and refinished hardwoods. I had two dogs when I was married. Two dogs do crazy damage. They play inside like they are outside. Hardwoods scratches and baseboards chipped. I told my girlfriend just one 95 lbs dog. Two is too much dog.

I love German shepherds but the shedding is bad.

I've got both worlds going. My mutt rescue is short haired, similar to a lab but softer. I think she might actually have some Doberman in her. Then I have the golden retriever rescue. Tumbleweeds is a very good analogy. It's insane. They do not have free reign of the house, which helps save my floors.

I'll never forget the morning I looked out the window to my backyard and my dogs had dug up the sprinkler system and were playing tug with the tubing.

Classic!

We always adopted labs. One lab was advertised as being very overweight weighing in at 90lbs. Pictures were deceiving and taken in a manner where you couldn't tell scale. What we got was something very different. Rufus was 110lbs and very lean. He was a horse and must have been part mastiff. You can't say no when you pick these things up from the rescue....he needed a home....we felt bad....etc. Anyway, he was very skilled at opening kitchen cabinets....he ate a 5lb bag of flour, 5lb bag of sugar and 3 boxes of cereal. It was all over the house...and I mean everywhere. The garbage was turned upside down....the house was in shambles. I thought he was going to die from bloat because of everything he ate. For him, just another day and another successful heist. He slept like a champ.

She's our second Havanese - the first, Tilly with my old M2.

The OEM BMW one is great if you can find one. It has tabs that clip into each headrest to keep it secured. Plus it's double layered and waterproof.

Highly recommended!

My only issue with the BMW solution is that dip between the front seats. That will not deter a large dog from standing on your center console.

Just sold mine last month unfortunately or I would have checked the QR code that was on it.

Also, the dealership threw it in for free with the car so I don't have any receipt or anything.
