I think the LIV disruption will change how people make decisions. It's hard to predict the end result. Way too early. The Saudis have the money to keep this disruption up. The question will be if they can get the club manufacturers into the team aspect and will people watch. They can pump money in, but sponsors need to see value in giving dollars to LIV players. I think the supply of big names to poach will shrink considerably after this introductory stage. It will become about the younger, up and coming talent and which direction they choose to go. Also, will the world golf rankings accept the LIV tour? That's where the Majors come into play. Still a lot of questions out there.

It's an interesting development in golf and also a very interesting case study for business.
I agree with everything you remarked on. I am curious how people feel about the ethics and views of the Saudis and players defecting to a tour funded with Saudi money. It is a lot of money being thrown at these players which provokes the "what would you do" question.

Barkley's comments did get me thinking.

I like the rubber offering from these guys for my apple watch, not sure what kind of watch you are looking for a band for. Pretty much my Apple watch is my daily driver. A watch like my Breitling Bentley is reserved for nights out. Even with that watch, when it needed a new band, the replacement from Breitling was like $600 for a black leather band with white stitching. I found the same no-name band a the jewelers building in Boston and moved over the Bentley hardware/clasp.

Thanks, I'll take a look. I was so dumb founded when I saw those other ones. My daily's a breitling navitimer B01, I just change the strap to dress up/down. I saw some of those Bentleys and they're beautiful. I remember one had some really wonderful stitching on it band. I was never a watch guy but I have a little more appreciation for them after some minor research.

You could take a look at nylon bands, also. I've thought about that route for something more casual and durable.

I think Barkley almost made a great point. I agree with him that civil rights here should be a focus before in Saudi, but I'd argue they're a pretty big damn focus here. The laughable part of being concerned over the Saudi's human rights abuses is that no one at ESPN is putting that kind of focus on other global markets (ahem… China… cough cough).

I do think the Saudi's inhumane acts, including beheading an actual journalist, is a huge problem for people. Enough that I think it's what is holding more people back from supporting it. But our current executive administration would rather placate the Saudi's than change domestic energy policy. You can bet that the feds investigating the PGA Tour for anti trust activity isn't coinciding with Biden asking them for help on oil by coincidence. So, it's hard to square all this up, if you're looking for evidence that "we" really care about human rights around the globe.

Now, what would I do? I'd like to say that's tough. But if my kid had the opportunity to try and grind on the KF tour and grind out a Tour card and then grind to try and win some events OR get a $20 million guaranteed pay day from LIV, I'd probably tell him to take the pay day. That's generational wealth for the vast vast majority of people on earth. The conflict would be if you/you're kid had legitimate shots at Major wins and were basically a lock to be on tour a decade+.

I became a watch guy about 15 years ago. That Breitling Bentley had a lot to do with it. It's just an stunning looking watch, my favorite by far.

I got an apple watch a little of a year ago, my first, and admittedly where is all the time. I used to change up my watch daily. I have a Rolex, a TAG, Omega 007 and a bunch of mid level watches. I need to start wearing them again. Damn Apple!!

Good call, thatll be good for the water too.thanks
If interested in nylon straps I strongly recommend checking these out:
https://nickmankeydesigns.com/

I came across these after investigating various nylon strap options via watch forums and youtube reviews. They are by far the most comfortable strap I have ever worn. Note: they can take quite a bit of time to receive as they are made to order by hand, but the quality and comfort is worth the wait. This hook strap design and the stretch material used is what delivers the comfort. No metal clasps come in contact with your wrist. Took me a few tries to get the mechanism and fit quite right, but now that I have it down, I find myself never wanting to wear any other strap.

Another popular take on this design is from https://erikasoriginals.com/
I tried one of these and returned. More expensive and not close to the same quality as nick mankey IMO. He also provided great customer service as I was not happy with one of the straps I received from him (color was not what I expected), and he sent me another free of charge.

Excellent. I knew there had to some watch freaks cruising around here. Thanks for the leads.

Looks great!

Don't get me wrong. In a vacuum, I love doing it. But it's gotten to the point, with kids and life, that it's either do the yard or enjoy the weekend, not both. Plus I have this new car washing habit I've picked up. Haha.

I'm too OCD to totally abandon the landscaping. I'll handle the detailed stuff, but I will greatly benefit from having the routine cutting and leaf blowing outsourced.

Too much reflection….whats going on there? I hope it's not what I think it is.

Edit: Ha ha ha ha ha ha! That is nasty!! Thats too low budget for a Mercedes owner….maybe a Subaru WRX owner. I initially thought someone keyed your car. did you see a hand print on your car, they probably needed to hold on to something.

Lol. That's what I said. I didn't see any prints on
my fender/quarter panel unless they were leaning towards the car next to me. Then I thought could it be a dog? It was pretty soupy, even had some splash marks around it. pretty ballsy as there was a street right there. On the other side of the spectrum, a guy made it obvious he wanted to take a picture of my car as I was driving. So I stopped and wait for him. he gave me a thumbs up and said nice ride! Threw a thumbs up back and thanked him as i continued. Maybe he was the guy who took the shit and wanted to get a trophy picture LOL

my fender/quarter panel unless they were leaning towards the car next to me.
I'm blind as a bat...I first saw your picture and I was focused on your car. I saw what looked like a white chip....like someone pegged your car. Then I took another look and saw the BLOB! Someone had a bad day man. Maybe too much beer. 95% of the time, the criminal returns to the crime scene! That's a classic though.
