Yea I was not seeking them out but they certainly are a nice touch.

Had to make some sacrifices to get the car now but definitely prefer the black over arctic blue. That blue is a little too soft looking for this car

Dakota is okay and I’ll survive with them, but I can see where nappa lovers are coming from...

DAP - I never really wanted to begin with.

Massage and ventilation- I’m sure I’ll miss from time to time.

But man this car is freaking fast lol. Not sure when I’ll ever use this power but at least I know it’s there haha.

I think I experienced some DHP kicking in - on the way home - uneven road where you expect one side of your car to dip - it stayed perfectly flat. It was a weird feeling bc of what you have learned to expect while driving - im going to have to drive over it again soon to verify lol. If so, I may have to re-train my brain.

My build with the broker - which I paid a broker fee that I think is non refundable at this point. Then the carbon black m550 had no broker fee but 1000 deposit with the dealer, which should be refundable. I don’t like this part, they won’t be happy with me.

The other deposit was returned!!

So remote started this morning and from my living room it could not be heard. The car is much closer to my neighbors. So who knows how they felt but inside my walls I think I will be good.

Congrats on the new car. We expect you to keep it this nice and clean at all times. Unannounced inspections will occur so don't think you can hide it from us.

BTW: Did the dealer try to sell you the Putin Protection Package? 5" of lead and UHMW Polyethylene + a 2 year supply of food and water.

No, they were cool. They correctly assumed I didn’t want any of that stuff and we moved on. Was in with finance manager for all of 5 minutes.

To those who have both or driven both a lot. Does the x5 m50i inject more, less or about the same cabin synthetic exhaust noise as the m550?

I would say less; m550 def sounds louder.
