I got a MY 22 540i early this March and everything has been working fine. I am just having an issue with the outside temperature. It is currently 28 degrees Celcius but the car is showing as 21.5 degrees. Anyone else having this issue? And does anyone know how to fix/reset the sensor? Thanks in advance

Edit: Somehow it fixed itself.

It is under warranty. Why try to fix it instead of just letting BMW honor their warranty?

I ask this genuinely as I see this fairly often. People trying to find a way to repair a car under warranty themselves and it causes a segmentation fault in my logic processing.

Not necessarily trying to repair it per se was trying to see if there was a manual reset like there is for TPMS. Local service, Beverly Hills BMW has 2 week backlog for their service appointments so trying not to go to service if it will take me to just press and hold down a button if that makes sense

If that were my experience I'd change dealerships...

If that didn't fix the problem or wasn't an option... I'd change brands...

If you were so romantically intertwined with BMW that you couldn't do that... I'd buy them after the deprecation curve has crested and the warranty is expired so you could deal only with the Indy you trust...
