This is on my wish list. The one I have now isn't strong enough and then the battery dies and I have to finish with a MF towel anyway. But you are right, blower is the way to go for ease and also even more protection from swirling.

I purchased a Master Blaster car and bike dryer a few years back. Great appliance, has heated air as well to help with the drying process. Highly recommend it.

I've got one of those and I've thought about doing the same. I can just hear the neighbors now…

"What's he doing now?!"

Oh yeah….they all think Im nuts….but all the car enthusiasts know exactly whats going on, then you see them using one a couple weeks later.

If the car has a slick finish, the water sheds so easily with the blower. When Im washing the car, i constantly spray the whole car down not giving water spots a chance….i do that right until Im ready to dry….then i break out the blower hitting the sun side first….no spots

On a coated car, you can dry the car with one towel after using a leaf blower. Door jams, trunk, etc. One towel.

Ease of washing and drying is how I'm justifying getting the coating. But it will be a few more months until I'm ready to do it.

Yep, sorry about that OP! I totally hijacked your thread, but at least it stays on top.
