Say if you want to check how many KM are left on your brake pads or rotors, etc. or the thickness in MM, is there a way to check that from the screen without physically inspecting the part?

I know you can check the basic things like tire pressure from the iDrive screen, and oil levels. But if there's a way to check more specific things, electronically, you would know if a mechanic is trying to rip you off for certain services.

The car will tell you how long you have until the next brake fluid flush because that's based on time, but it has no way to know the actual pad thickness. It's just got a sensor that trips when they reach a certain minimum thickness. Checking the pad and rotor condition still needs to be done "up close and personal".
