2017 G30 Xhp trouble

I have a 2017 540i 40k miles with MHD stage 1 (for now). All maintenance is up to date. Bought XHP, flashed the car, get a flashing CEL but no error codes. Uninstalled and it went away. Tried to reinstall same thing. Anyone have an answer for this?

xHP have been pretty responsive to me. I'd follow up with them.
