Have you come across any way to change the HUD options to show the M5-style tachometer and gear display, such as pictured in their marketing material? https://www.bmwusa.com/content/dam/b...arousel-02.jpg (assuming of course that the hardware is similar across the two models--it seemed that this was a definite 'no' on pre-2020 G30s.)
It's a bit annoying how little information is displayed in our fairly-big HUDs, excluding if you've got navigation running (even basic things like turn signal status or cruise control target speed not being there seems pretty short-sighted.) |

I am about to bimmercode for the first time.
What does this mean? Use a backup to revert this coding once it has been applied. How do I backup?

The app will backup all of your current settings and store them in your device in case something does not go right. You can revert to previous settings. You should see the backup option at the bottom.
