Looking at LCI Italian price list connected wit MSport package you can order two kind of seats (sport seats are standard):
Comfort seats: already available on pre-LCI and M Multifunction seats which are new (and seems similar to M5 seats)
Does anyone have more info on that? Could M seats also be ventilated as comfort?

It appears that the M seats only come with venasca leather. I could be wrong but that would be a deal breaker for me.

Yes but some vernasca Colours can be ventilated and some cannot.
In M5 you can have ventilated m seats

I think the concern is that Dakota and Vernasca leather are not up to expected standards. I share that concern.

My prior car had Dakota and I disliked it. i thought it felt like fake leather. Not soft and supple. So on my current car I ordered it from the factory with Nappa leather and I love the Nappa leather.

In M cars the seats have Merino leather (fairly similar to Nappa). I think it would be terrible to offer the M seats but with crappy leather.

They're available on the X5/6 in EU, here's the thread with photos - X6 delivery with black Merino M Multifunction seats and later post with Tartufo Vernasca.

Pretty much M Multifunction seats are identical seats identical to M5 seats but without the ///M illumination in the headrest:

First two are X6 (Black Merino) and the last two are from X5 (Tartufo and Black Vernasca)

Hello everyone.

Bumping this tread to see if any of you got a solution for ipad holders for the M multifunction seats? Normal ones that are attached to the headrest i guess would not fit? (Still waiting for the car so have not tested), but by the looks on pictures i guess it wouldnt. Is the only way the ones that straps around the seat and looks horrible?😬

You can order the top part of the seat cover and the mounting bracket from a m5 then you have the ability to mount a ipad

I think the best thing to do is ask your dealer about it since you said you haven't picked the car up yet you should ask about it on delivery day I do know bmw has alot of headrest ipad holder accessories. Buying the bracket and cover will most likely costs you 500 dollars plus you have to do some work
