I'm sorry the new c63 looks horrible. I think the old c63 black or 507 edition is better looking, and would have taken my money if the new m3/m4 hadn't come out this year.

I absolutely agree, the look of new C-class is awful. It looks like some luxury, long limo rather than sporty car. Can't say anything about power and sound. Comparing both cars from exterior point of view, i would take BMW M4 all the way

That's almost for sure some significant hyperbole...

Perhaps you were not aware as to how well sorted the handling was in the current gen C63 AMG. It got pretty well rave reviews in the press noting that all significant prior handling woes from the prior generation car were sorted out. No it's probably not going to provide as much handling nirvana as the M4 but the M4 ain't no GT3 let along a Carrera S or even Stingray...

Agree, it sounds great. Actually prefer it to my old E90 M3 sound. I'm sure new C63 will be great but no one has driven or heard it yet so I find it strange that the OP is making a decision on two cars he hasn't driven yet. Anyway sounds like he's already made a decision by placing a deposit so what's the point in this thread?!

There's no point asking people on this forum as they'll prefer the M4 obviously. Amazes me that people who can afford these cars need complete strangers on the internet to validate their choices.

Have seen, heard, and felt both F8x in person, it's sound is not conveyed over the videos correctly. I am not saying you will love it, but I personally thought it was amazing. I also thought that it was more throaty and menacing than any other German car I've heard before. Again, that's just me.

I also think the new C-class design is awful. I think most Merdedes, except the Mighty G, which I had until Kim Kardashian got one, are all ugly and played out.

I think the previous gen C63 was mean looking, I didn't particularly like the car for the reasons stated above (gearbox), and I'm sure MB will make a great newer version, but I'd always pick a BMW over an MB, unless it's for trucks, in which case 2003 G55 for the win.

But I think you should stick with your choice. I'm not sure how people buy cars without being sure on it. Let your heart decide, you know which car you truly want, pick that one. Forget about these cyber voices in your head telling you what is what. I was an agreement away from a Cayman S but knew it wasn't the car for me, didn't have the passion and luckily it turned out the M4 is crossing the pond for me now.

Erm, the suspension on the AMGs has improved a LOT and can easily stand toe-to-toe with BMW. With EPS in the picture, both have equally precise steering.

The Benz does have a relatively crappy transmission; they don't have manuals, and they don't have anything on the level of DCT. It is also a really heavy car, just sound of 4000lbs. And even their highest level of interior trim looks and feels cheap.

Uninformed biased comment is biased and uninformed. The M3/M4 is only 0.8" shorter than the Benz, while being 2.9" wider and having a 1.8" longer wheelbase. If you want to call either car a limo, the M deserves the label more than the AMG.

The new C63 isn't even out yet (just artists renderings) and you already think it looks terrible and awful!?

From Day 1, MB has been about luxury and elegance with a sports feel, so if you're expecting it to look sports sedan-ish like a BMW, then you're looking at it wrong. In fact, if you're going to criticize about becoming too "luxury", I'd point the finger right at the F30 that both looks and drives less like a sports sedan and more like a luxury sedan compare to previous generations (yes, I'm one of those BMW diehards who think BMW has gone soft).

While I like the aggressive looks of the F80, the F30 (without M package) is a different story. I prefer the looks of the W205 over the F30 any day, and the W205 interior blows away the F30. If I was looking for a smallish luxury solidly built sedan with a sporty feel, the W205 fits the bill about perfectly.

2. Because i guarantee the performance times are not much better than the previous generation. Unlike the new m3/m4, the new specs are much improved over the last generation.
3. The new interior is okay imho, i liked the previous one on the 2013 c63.

I think you should just stop making assumption and wait until the car is out before giving a judgment, just like the F3x ain't no F8x, the regular C-class ain't no C63 AMG, there's just no way to tell what it's gonna look like and how it's gonna perform!

Well, good for you if your choice is made but I prefer to see the car before judging! After watching the C63 507 beating the F8x and the E63 beating the M5 in many head to head match, I really don't see why the next C63 would'nt be a serious player in the small sport sedan segment... plus I don't think the F8x look "that" good.

looks like a smaller version of the S63 AMG coupe which is the sexiest design out right now. I'm sorry but y'all are tripping if you think Mercedes designs as of late are ugly. They got diamonds in the headlights! Diamonds! On this forum we're so quick to hate on people who judge the F8X M3/M4 without actually seeing/driving it in person yet everyone wants to write off the C63 before it's even revealed? #doublestandard
