I agree on this part 100%. In the county where I live, the law is written that having any animal that produces a consumable (a single animal) constitutes a farm and like Mr Bon Jobi receive a credit on their property taxes (I pay $1100/year for perspective).

This I can get behind for using taxable loopholes because of poorly written laws. Same thing goes with tax havens.

For my situation, my wife and I average out to $55k each for income, well below the $75k threshold. Not sorry that I received the check(s).

I mean, taxation pays for the amenities that we need as a nation sooooo I wouldn’t say it’s theft per se. but the amount that is taxed and how it’s being spent is miss managed and needs an overhaul, but that’s asking government officials if they really should be making millions and billions off taxpayers because they are exploiting loopholes they themselves put into law to better personal financial agenda.

I think the problem is that I've never seen a properly administered tax. I've worked with government and my wife works in government after working in the private sector for decades.....the waste and mismanagement is shocking.

Need to be careful with that C category if a public company. Can’t adjust to add back lost revenue or costs that would have been normally incurred anyway. Costs directly related to and arising from COVID (like impairments) are ok. Lots of guidance out there on this. EY put out something last week, Deloitte has a non-GAAP guide and SEC counsel should weigh in.

Ok enough accounting...
