I have the adaptive cruise control feature, and was wondering if mounting the front plate via the tow hook will affect this or any other sensor. Does anybody know or have experience with this? I've never gotten a front plate ticket, but I see that it's like a $200 fine so...gotta get that plate up.

I highly recommend a Sto n Sho solution. I have one and ACC. It mounts under the lip using existing screws and the plate plugs in and easy off.

It also looks like it belongs. I always hated the look of the tow hook mount. Just an awkward side mount. Plus you have to unscrew it and then you have a hole there unless you put the plate on and off. Just a pain in the ass.

Nice. I meant to post a few pics of the Sto n Sho on my car. Can't hurt for the sake of search. It does not interfere with the camera. My first Sto n Sho solution was to put the female receptor bracket right above the ACC camera under the bumper. This worked fine, but I literally never have the plate on and I got sick of seeing the bracket and the two holes you see. I then found the second solution where the plate is in the picture and it was a keeper. I took this picture before I removed the first receptor bracket, but it's good so you can see how the plate "plugs" into it and releases with a quick release spring.
