Are they off cambered? There’s little you can do to improve grip/feel thru an off cambered corner. South Bend at VIR is that way plus it’s a blind downhill left hander so you hope your on the correct line and won’t runout of track on corner exit!

T9 on Thunderhill east is cambered such that you get extra grip and you can really make an aggressive turn in. But occasionally even with the extra track camber the front will just let go a bit mid corner.

I have 72mm Bimmerworld studs, and they seem to be too short with the 15mm spacer when using the TA5R Flow Form Wheel, 18x10.5 ET36 wheel. Do people use 82 or 92 studs?

I use these from Motrosport Hardware. I currently use a 15mm with them, but they support a 20mm due to the extended thread. 14x1.5 lug nuts are also super common! They have the non-conversion ones as well.

I use BW 92mm studs and a 25mm spacer

I used to use these, until one of the studs broke in half on my rear wheel. It was a fun exercise to get it out.

Dang unfortunate! I’ve ran them for a few seasons now and know lots of people on them. But there’ll always be scenarios like yours so don’t blame you if you don’t want to run them 👍🏽 So many variables to this happening.

But a stud extractor is always good to have on hand depending on the type of break it was.

It actually broke almost flush with the hub. I ended up drilling it out with Tap Magic oil and cobalt coated metal drill bits.

I found that 73mm bimmerworld stud is a bit too short when using the bimmerworld 15mm spacer. 82mm studs work quite well though. I also took a picture that shows three weels with NT01 on them. Apex EC7 275 NT01 on a 9.5 inch wheel, TA5R with 275 NT01, and the Apex EC7 11 inch wheel with a 305 NT01. It's interesting to see how much extra width the TA5R has over the 9.5 Apex.

• Needed some fender liner trimming
• Hammered back body seam

Needed to trim the fender due to rubbing. Bought some abs plastic from home depot. Trimmed the fender, and inserted abs plastic. Did a quick test drive and rubbing seems to be gone. Real test will be track day next week.

You can also use a heat gun to push the fender out of the way

Will see how much trimming needs to happen when I get it back from alignment tomorrow. Running the steering limiters so might not be too bad. 18*11 et 36 square nt01 315/30/18

So I had a chance to run 275 NT01 square setup at Laguna yesterday on 10.5 TA5R wheels. I would say that braking and turn in is better compared to running 275 on a 9.5 wheel. The rear felt less planted compared to a 305 NT01 on an 11inch wide rim. I saw a lot of people with F8x cars running 295 square setups. Yokohama ADVAN 295/35R/18 might be an interesting option to get a bit more meat in the rear while maintaining the benefit of the square setup.

295 square is a really solid setup, it's my go-to
