Yeah, want to move to a dedicated track car. I'm too hesitant to push on the car so I'm essentially just spending a ton of money per track event on insurance and consumables to not progress at all.

Both April and October.

April I won't be driving either, I've self-demoted myself to pit crew temporarily.

Well buy an E46 post haste and send it my son. You will be there for all of 5 minutes and wish you were driving. No one wants to be pit crew unless they are being paid for it. I'm not paying you to feed me red bulls and tell me I'm a slag, I expect that for free.

Maybe a dedicated track F82? I think they’re easily the best value for a M3/4 right now - not over inflated like E46 and E9X. Could pick one up for the mid to high 30s.

Would love to. Definitely high up on my options but hard to find one that hasn't been abused through the ECU.

I'm also really considering getting a 6-speed supra, gutting it and turning it into a track only car.

Those supras are no joke - probably the most cost effective new car that will get you into the upper tiers of time. Some of the fastest guys I know personally are running Supras for that reason.

Yeh got it too. It's honestly not a bad thing and something I didn't consider. The track will likely continue to puddle as the piles melt despite most of it being dry. Many of the corners puddle and it would ruin the day.

Honestly thought all the snow would melt with today and tomorrow at 50 degrees.

Just too early.

Yup I agree. I need to stop with March events. Last year it was all day rain at a SCDA event and I didn’t learn my lesson for this year.
I’m so hung up about driving in 40 degree weather which is why I do it.
