Oil for high mileage N54 in Florida weather?

My 2007 E92 has 112,588 miles on the ticker and I just moved down to Florida from Virginia. In Virginia and for the past 3 years since I've had the car, I've been using Mobil1 0w40 but I feel this is too thin for the hotter FL weather.

Seeing that my car already joined the 100K mile club and I will be living in warmer weather all year round, what oil should I put into my car?

I've searched the forums and opinions seem to fluctuate from 0w40 up to 10w60 and everything in between.

Thanks for any help, guys and gals...

Thanks for all the responses, folks. It took me all evening to comb through all of them.

I ended up getting LiquiMoly 5w30...

Castrol doesn't make a SYNTEC european 5w-30 for sale in the USA. They only make one european version here and it is 0w-30.

The only 5w-30 that would be approved is the BMW brand OEM oil from the dealer.
