Emergency call function not available on G30

Hi all, my November 2018 G30 530i has the emergency call function not working check control message. I have read the codes and the below are logged. I know that this issue can be caused either by water on the module or just the battery needs replacing @ £60 from bmw.
Based on the below do you think this is just the battery? Or do you think it could be the module?

B7f341 Emergency battery: Hardware faulty
B7f343 Emergency battery: Change interval reached
3178A TCB: Functional limitation of mobile phone network
31786 TCB: Functional limitation of Last State Call

I know the above says interval reached on battery but would the three other codes be present if the battery needs to be replaced? Thanks

I changed mine last year as it failed when sitting in the garage for months prior to the car being sold to me.

Any chance your car sat for a long time due covid?

Anyway changing this yourself is not a good idea as you can damage the roof liner (1000s to replace) so either way your off to BMW and they will tell you when they go to change it if it's more than the battery.

Your probably over thinking this one.

I had one fault code only, see last one on attachment.

It's a battery, located near the shark fin. Mine was covered under warranty. I wouldn't want to pull the headliner down myself. Other than that, it is a simple fix.
