diffuser looks good.
small areas of rough paint on bottom side.
right side has some missing paint so it shows a little white but i think i can live with that.

not sure it's worth shipping back

Nice, looking forward to hearing if it fits on perfectly and the tips fit into the holes. Is it painted or is it just gloss plastic?

Interesting. Curious how you install it too, whether you use existing holes and screws or need to drill at all.

I haven't pulled the trigger. I'm following your progress, feedback and review first.

In terms of the imperfections, although it's only a couple of hundred bucks, if any of the blemishes you referenced were visible from looking at it straight on from back, my OCD would drive me to swap it out. If they are underneath or on the edges in places not easily visible, I guess I could live with it. The trouble is, for the money, the quality control probably isn't there on all of them.

That white 1.5" chip on the left edge would be a non starter for me. I guess you could touch it up, but if you didn't, that would be an eye magnet for me.

I hear you, I don't like it either but the non-smoothness of paint is on the bottom, only two spots along peripheral edge. the white is annoying but also on the bottom, can't see it unless you crawl under rear bumper.

for 200$, if I exchange, the next one could be worse.

Yep, that's what I was thinking too. Hell if it's easy to put on, for $200 bucks, just swap in a new one every so often. Does the paint job look like it's going to chip and peel easily?

Yeah, that's fine and I bet it's by design, meaning they don't focus on the bottom when sanding. I am sure a replacement would look the same. I am looking forward to your review and pictures on it.

I am pretty close to pulling the trigger on a full Dinan exhaust. I'd love to save a few bucks on the diffuser, but at the same time, I am spending $4,000 on the exhaust and the debate is, since I am spending so much, I want it to look perfect with no need to cut, or I will just drop another $600-$800 on the M-Performance or RW Carbon offerings. I really don't like GF though, so I want it black and glossy, like the M5. I want the double tips to fit well and centered.

If you plan to change the exhaust and remove the trapezoid tips and change to quad tips then i think you have more options regarding the diffuser. this one has 10" opening to accommodate the large trapezoid tips.

You can prob go w the other offerings on ebay for the G30 M-sport diffusers.

Thanks. I just need to figure what I want to do next. I weighing out Dinan lowering springs or exhaust. This stuff gets addictive and out of control.

Anyway, I want to hear your feedback. If it's an easy install and fits well, I may as well put it on and check it out in person. Could help with the decision on springs vs exhaust. The only reason I want to do the exhaust is for the double tips, but a sexy diffuser like this may fit the bill.

did it in 30 min tonight. OEM diffuser easy to remove, just pull gently
used 7 out of 10 screws, there are two holes that don't match up but diffuser is stable. looks good.
I'll get some better pictures during the day.

Nice, looking forward to pics. So the OEM diffuser just pulls off or are there screws holding it down?

Edit: Never mind, got it:
