I just picked up my new 2022 540xi which came with the MPP Exhaust w/ carbon fiber tips ZA4 and I'm not a big fan of the off grey lower bumper diffuser option, especially since my car color is the Bernina Grey which just looks mismatched. I looked everywhere online and can't seem to find the right rear bumper that fits my exhaust tips properly. Anyone who has this combo with a link to where I can get a gloss black aftermarket or factory with more aggressive diffuser options?

FYI I ordered the following and returned it as the tips won't fit through the opening properly because the shape of the MPP exhaust tips are trapezoid vs base stock ones that look more or less like a triangle with the top portion shaved off:

You can run the ones made for the m550, they are the same dimension.

I appreciate your suggestion. I was able to narrow down the factory option on getbmwparts but nothing aftermarket even for M550i

Mperformance for m550 or M5 diffuser will fit just fine. Plenty of M5 ones on eBay and there’s couple listing for m550

I have those same tips. I've ordered aM5 style from Alibaba. I should be getting them soon.

I am interested to know how it ends up looking and ease of fitment. Is the M5 rear lower bumper / diffuser interchangeable with M550i / M-Performance rear bumpers on the LCI?

M5 and 5 Series share the same bumper both on LCI and non-LCI.
Although you can theoretically put M5 diffuser on the bumper, M5 exhaust is closer to the centre and won't clear the exhaust on 5 Series. None BMW ones off of ebay and alibaba look like M5 with tail pipe cut outs further from the centre to match 5 series. I'm guessing yours has the m550i diffuser rn.
I'm trying to figure out whether that fits my non-LCI or not.

The fitment is all the same. I have the eBay gloss black mperformance diffuser made for 2017-2020 pre-lci. Exact same fitment. You just need to get the one for M550. The m performance exhaust is the same dimension as the m550 tips.

Here is one that should fit your mp exhaust ... edit: seller seems to be out of stock now.

Make sure you also contact the seller to be sure the fitment is for the m550 also

I finally got my Gloss Black M5 style diffuser. Although I've confirmed for m550i it still doesn't fit. I have bought it from here.
Dealer rotated the tips when I picked it up since it wouldn't fit in the OEM 540i diffuser. I'm gonna try your diffuser and probably wrap in gloss black.
I really do like the M5 Style but in this market with the length of shippings I don't have the patience to wait another 1-2 months.
I can pick up m550i diffuser in 2 days. Also the quality/fitment is as good as the price. Here is the photo:

I actually wanted to go through that but unfortunately it's not just the size the shape is different too. It'll look weird. I'm gonna do the m550i oem ones and keep the OEM+ look for now until I find something for it. It's a shame; really like the look.

there was a seller on ebay specifically sells the mp style diffuser for the m550. i guess it's out of stock now. the link i posted above i realize the seller just used a photo with the mp exhaust, but actually sells the regular version.

just keep an eye out on it.

Wish I saw this earlier. Put an order for pre-LCI m550i diffuser. I liked the LCI one but I wasn't sure it'll fit.

It’ll fit the same. So far no one makes the lci mp style diffuser with the upper diffuser. Mine is also for the pre-lci… I’m still waiting to see if anyone makes it

After looking all over, I found the specific bumper that fits for LCI or Pre LCI with M Performance exhaust / stock M550i exhaust tips. The seller is out of stock but I messaged him that there is a good number of people looking for this specific piece. I'll update everyone once an ETA is available.

The pre lci diffuser fits on lci? I was told by dealer that it doesnt fit…
