Has anyone managed to get three car seats in their g30 (or F90/G05)? We currently have a 3-year old and a 6-year old. We might add another bundle of fun and terror. If we do.. is it practical or possible to have two car seats and then one of the bases you drop a car seat you carry around? Tight fit? Nearly impossible? Impossible?

It looks pretty tight when I look back. I'm also somewhat seriously been throwing my hat in the ring for a CS as they've popped up and have been at or close to MSRP. With no middle seat it seems less practical for the family but if the G30 can't fit 3 car seats anyway…

I've gotten two high back boosters and a car seat in the back without any issue.

Check into different types of car seats too. Diono make one that is more narrow that fits next to others better.

i had 2 diono radian XTs and another different brand, kinda had to install carseats in certain order for all the fit snugly.

By the time the new one is born the 6 year old will be on a booster seat instead of a car seat. Problem solved.

Once you go three kids you are taking suburban or mini van… *shiver*

I had the same thought. If you need to put three car seats across in a sedan, it's time to get the wife a minivan and use that. I had three kids and always a nice BMW, I somehow managed to never have three in car seats in the Bimmer. Usually at the expense of convenience for the wife (now ex. wife), but I did not have many scenarios where I had to take all three and didn't have access to the puke mobile.

1300 isn't bad. One of the car seats we have is like $500. The others are 250-300 or so... so not so far off. However.. rear facing seat needed. A base with drop-In.

Thanks for all the feedback. We have a recent Volvo XC90 with three rows. My F150 can fit three seats too. However, I drive my car and don't just garage it all the time and kids like to go fast sometimes but am struggling with how three seats would work well in it. We have 2 car seats in all three of our vehicles.

Minivan… that'll be for wife to decide. However, it won't reply the bimmer or my F150. 😀
