Which fuse to tap for dashcam?

Hi all

I've managed to route my wiring for dashcam, only thing left is to tap a fuse. Just wanting a sense check on which one to tap.

I'm going into the front right fuse box

If anyone has any tips please drop a comment

Many thanks

Thanks
I did see this thread but the f59 fuse is under '48V' on the chart in my car?

It is a 530e if that makes any difference

Maybe you can use this document www.e90post.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=2024297attached .
This is for BMW advanced eye 2 installation.
Page 38 should have other ones that you can use.
Just make sure you need mini fuse for that.
I couldn’t fit my mini fuse tap there as it’s really tight.

In case anyone comes across this

I ended up going into fuse F50 in the front fusebox (located under the plastic cover next to the obd port in drivers footwell ( RHD car))

Very easy to remove a pillar trim, cabling zip.tied to the existing loom, remove little bit of foam in the corner and there's a perfect routing for wiring which comes out behind the little cubby (remove with 2x T20 screws and pull toward you)

Cool The easy option

Garmin OBD port to USB adapter, the cable points forward into fuse box area under RH side of dash. Adapter can be set to 10 minutes delay, 24hr delay or permanently powered. There are 2 USB ports if you have another device to connect.

Bought a charging-only USB cable from Amazon (bit thinner than, say, Nextbase hardwire cable). Tucked into headliner above wind screen, and into join in mirror housing, across top of A pillar trim (easy to tuck it in the join, no need to remove the trim).

Then down inside the door seal rubber, and then through the trim joint at the bottom edge of the dash, straight into fuse box area. Plug in to Garmin, bundle up any excess cable and tie out of the way.

10-15 minutes

Well worth the additional cost of the OBD adapter. Cheaper options available, but why not go with the branded/quality item?
