Any secret to cleaning internal controls ??
Hey 5 series owners - i have a real (luxury) problem on my hands.
My interior is all black, with piano black trim and ceramic controls. Nothing looks better when it's clean IMO. Anyway, when cleaning the steering wheel controls, center stack controls, driver side controls and the idrive area, is there a secret to doing so without activating every single thing that the microfiber towel runs across ?? I like to use a MF towel sprayed with just enough lemon scented anti-microbial spray as required to pick up dust. But in doing so I trip turn, push and otherwise jiggle every switch in the car. Has anyone found a solution to this problem, short of disconnecting a battery terminal? Thanks ! PS - Here in central Arkansas fall road-trip weather is right around the corner. CAN'T WAIT !!!

Same, ignition off but heater controls will still come on if touched!
With Piano Black everything have you considered using a product like Car Pro InnerQD? I'm in the UK and this stuff is antimicrobial and anti static, keeps dust off. |
Appreciate
