G30 LCI grill fitted - carbon Fibre

I have looked everywhere but couldn’t find any instructions to remove grill , I knew Pre LCI grills was very easy to remove but with being LCI grill in one piece I wasn’t sure but it actually is same process just grill in one piece

You just need to press in highlighted spots with flag screw driver and pull gently to release tab when all 5 tabs released then start gently pulling and wiggling from one side to release rest of the tabs

Be gentle when pulling , you will hear plastic snapping noises but no need to wet pants (I nearly did ) just tabs being released

Hope this helps

Excuse dirty car changed last minute before dark will wash and post proper pics later

My bonnet badge is missing in process of doing this see pic

Looking forward to for the transformation. I did the carbon fiber spoiler last weekend and really like the look. I guess I've never seen real carbon fiber enough to appreciate it until now. I've seen it in showrooms on Maclaren's and Porsche's but never my car. I'm leaning toward sticking with the cerium gray accents with the exception of the grill.

I debated whether to go with the CS vs the Pro for a long time. In the end I didn't want to use the beta link stuff that would permanently attach, which is supposedly a requirement for the Pro. It's just enough for me. I didn't realize you can't get the 668M's in the UK. That's a bummer. #1 and #2 on my list of must haves were the wheels with non run flat summer and B&W. Skipped right over cars without both of these.

I didn’t’ want that boding stuff either used original 3m tape to stick it down and hoping it would stay there don’t want to use bond then it is there for life

Front splitter is a nightmare too , it comes in 3 pieces i am hoping it goes on smoothly tomorrow

Would you mind posting a picture of your exhaust tip looks different to one i have on mine mate

My M Sport Pro OEM spoiler was fitted with that glue stuff, came off easy just more work than 3M.

The Pro spoiler is mounted back from where the stock OEM lip spoiler is. The CS sits in the same spot. I debated a while CS vs. Pro. They are very similar. At the end of the day, the recommended install for the Pro is using betalink, which is permanent adhesive. I wasn't willing to go permanent and I also didn't want a $1,000 spoiler flying off if I ignored the recommendation and went with 3M tape. I also like that the CS sat in the same exact spot as the OEM lip I was removing. I used a 3M wheel to remove the old 3M tape and I figured if I fucked up and burned the clear coat, what the hell, I was going right over it with the CS.
