M550i - square set up?

Anyone running square set up in their m550i?

What tire width do you run?

Is 245 too narrow?

Thanks

Mine came with a square setup. I run 245 /40 R19 98Y XL BSW CONTINENTAL EXTREME CONTACT DWS06 PLUS

I have no issues, car performs great, and I can rotate my tires.

I run square in the winter on 245/40 R19 Pilot Alpin 5, and staggered in the summer on 245/40 R19 and 275/35 R19 PS4S. Both sets of wheels are the stock 664M style. I also have the spare tire kit since they are not run-flats. No complaints, everything works fine.

OP: Running 245/45/19s on 19 x 8.5 (square setup) on my M550i specifically for the purpose of having a beefier sidewall. 5 months with this set up, no issues, definitely less scared of potholes.

Thanks. I prefer 255 40 19 but that sounds expensive!

We have the 19" 845M wheels in 8" wide ET30 offset on all four corners of our 540i non-X. A squared setup.

Once these tires are toast I'm thinking of going 19" 845M in the 9" wide ET44 version for a beefier look.

Unless I can find an OEM M car wheel or maybe some Apex wheel or even Volks that I like more.
