Interesting or it's up to the factory? I would say 25% of the online M550s I look at have them and they all can't be owners adding them or asking the dealer to add them. Most buyers aren't OCD like us😜

I mean you guys have proven they seem to exist but I've never seen it in person and while I was waiting for my car to arrive I pretty much checked cars.com and cargurus a few times a week to look at all the new M550i's in a 250-500 mile radius and never saw this appear once.

My 2020 came with them. I did a full debadge and got rid of them as well as I think they are but silly. Too many BMWs with M everywhere and not M cars.

But why does BMW exclude the US market only for this sublte little badge? It must have something to do with trying to distinguish the M5? I am pretty sure the US market is where the majority of M cars are sold?

I added them to my 540 (M package) - do a search, I remember someone did some measuring and posted them with a tape measure - worked perfectly for me.

Thanks, I must have missed that. I caught a few threads where people drew some lines on the pics, but didn't see the measuring tape pics. I'll keep searching.

You are correct.... I see the difference. I do have 759 and do prefer them since they have more black which matches the theme of the car with spoilers, front lip and Canards
