Thanks mate i found old thread and someone in US fitted its plug n play.

Do you know if I can pry climate control out or do i have to take dash trim out ?

In video looks like it can be pried out

As long as the back has the 4 posts, it will swap. I think I swapped a G11 unit on my car. I bought the unit on ebay from Latvia or something.

The unit comes right out with a nylon pry tool.

if you type G11 climate control in ebay you will get loads of results , some are for £95 which have silver temp controls and some are £160-£180 which will have ceramic controls

i will be going with ceramic controls

let me know if you still can't find i will find one for you mate.

last question , can we swap gloss black trim from G30 to G11 silver one ?

G30 is gloss black which looks better than silver brushed

You can, but you need to be careful not to break any of the clips. Just take your time. I've even seen people take the ceramic buttons off. I guess it comes down to skill and your level of risk.

Thanks mate will try have a go tomorrow , i have removed F3x surround controls and yea have to be very careful with clips

I had ceramic control in my F30 was nightmare to keep it clean not changing it again

Would you have a pic of this surround out ?

Here is what happened it didn’t fit back fixing of LCI is totally different to Pre LCi I think here are some pics


First pic : bottom trim is from my G30 LCI

Looks like if I want this fitted I will have to do some modifications in dash board area ��*♂️

It did work perfectly just wouldn’t fit in dash

Pls help if you have any ideas
