Worn out or dirty steering wheel?

Hello there.

Can someone tell me if this steering wheel is saveable?

Tried washing with warm water and mild soap and with sonax extreme leather care without luck.. never been washed with any strong soap

Is it really already so worn out after 90.000km or is it just full of sweat, oil and makeup?

Looks quite worn to me
Sweat and muck I would expect to make the leather shiny in appearance and feel

I use zaino z9 leather to clean my wheel every month with a tooth brush to maintain the matt effect

Yours looks like it’s worn or perhaps dried out at some point potentially? Has it been in a sunny climate by any chance and exposed to a lot of light and heat?

Those diagonal lines on it, are those heating elements or is that the sensor for detecting if your hands are on as regards the semi autonomous stuff? It’s like the leather has shrunk, hence me asking if it’s been exposed to a lot of sunlight and heat. Notice that those marks only seem to be at the top aswell as far as I can tell

Thats what i thought.. is there any good alternativ way to atleast get the color back? Like some kind of dye?

The car is imported from Germany in 2022 and its from mid 2019. So dont know if it has been exposed to alot of heat or sunlight,
But I can tell that it has not been exposed to any kind of heat or much sunlight here in Iceland😂

I see it more like those “marks” are where i normally hold the steering wheel.
They are most visible at 1, 4 and 8 o’clock

Mmm don’t know, sorry
Sure others here may have some advice.
May potentially be able to have the leather replaced? Maybe a specialist that could do that? Wouldn’t be cheap though I suspect
