Yes, the eligibility said leases or purchases. I had to upload a copy of the lease agreement, but was pretty straightforward.

Sorry for all the questions. It seems like you beat them up for the price first then sign the deal and after that you can apply for the $1500 discount? do they send you a check or does it get taken off of your lease rate? Program seems really helpful

This is my first time using the program because you have to be a member for a period of time before becoming eligible and the timing did not work out for our last lease. However, my understanding is that you get a check in the mail. Think it said 8 weeks roughly when I applied last night.

I paid MSRP cash because I dont lease which I thought was "fair" being that most Nj dealers are asking for 5-10K over based on order vs a car on the lot. Maybe I should have fought harder for a discount but a dealer in Maryland had what I wanted coming in which enabled me to get to the front of the line and not wait for a build. My car is still stuck at US port w stop sale but its in the US.

Hey man, I'm from the M5 forum. I checked my VIN and I had defect 0066640100 "Retrofit PMA Control Unit." I've been at "dispatched from factory" status for 7 days. I'm assuming this was the stage where you were waiting as well? How long did it take you to get your issue resolved?

Waited about a week at the factory to get to port. Been 2.5-3 weeks waiting at port. At the inbound port is where they take care of retrofits so we'll have more waiting after we wait.

Was there an explanation as to why you were waiting at the factory? Can't seem to figure it out and no one has answers. I'm headed to east coast, NJ

I'd imagine it was because they're grouping cars together to go to port and coronavirus

That's what I thought and was originally told however I know of people who've had their car built after me and are at port. It's crazy

Any individual features? People with same build
Week as me are driving their cars already and I'm still at outbound port. I think because of tanzanite paint which is technically individual but offered on bmw.com when I built it.

Tanzanite is sick! And no, no individual options. Donington grey metallic, comp package, executive package, M drivers package. That's about it.

Yes. It was a toss up between tanz. and a grey. Car looks great in both but I cannot resist blue. You got a jam packed puppy there, nicely equipped! Seems like instead of working in "days" bmw are working in weeks and months because of rona. I'd say after 10-14 days you may have a gripe. It's frustrating, but, first world problems are good to have

We ordered a '22 540i in December. It is currently en route on board the Hawaiian Highway, due to arrive Charleston in March. We are going to try Performance Center Delivery again; we had a blast picking up my E90 10 years ago.

Looks like many folks are feeling the frustration as we wait on our vehicle to arrive. Mine is due into Baltimore in 2 days on Hawaiian Highway and I can’t even get excited because there is no telling now long I will have to wait on the RAM to get taken care of on my 530i.
