I’ll first get this out of the way: “why would you want to do that…. Yadda yadda”
Well. Because I want to. Now, I am wondering if anyone has played around with coding to see if you can change the speed of the electric / petrol switch. Right now it only goes to petrol when I hit 70 or 75 mph. At that speed. That battery is gone within 7 miles (if charge was somewhat full). I’d find it much more beneficial and would prefer for the electric motor to switch at like 35 or 40 mph. Keep more reserved for traffic and low speed travel. Cheers! |

This should work fine if you’re in Hybrid w/ your destination set in the car’s GPS.
It will dynamically adjust the switching time for the electric drivetrain to extend your electric driving range. I’ve seen it drop it down to very low like 30MPH and up to as high as 90MPH during drives. |
