Why someone would ever downgrade the Head Unit is beyond me. Nonetheless, you need to determine method used for Activation of donor Head Unit, and determine what issue is. If activation module was used, need to make sure it is still wired correctly, then all FSC Codes must be validated.

Hello,

I need help with this too. Both Navigation (greyed out) and Voice Commands functionality (including the button) do not work.

I'm from the UK.

I had my NBT Head Unit replaced for my F30 as my other one would not turn on anymore (it was confirmed that it got bricked, after I followed these steps which clearly did not work: https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...6&postcount=32)

I have my car's VIN and donor VIN of the Head Unit.

I got a professional coder who tried to flash the new Head Unit to my VIN but the Navigation and Voice Commands still do not work.

What must he do?

I advised him about the FSC method that is being talked about here.

He has stated that he is doing exactly that but it still does not work?

Please help!

You need to wipe Donor FSC Codes, all of them, from NBT, and then load all of your original OEM VIN Matching FSC Codes into NBT.

Thanks, I'll wait and see what happens the next time I meet with him and update you.

He told me he will try to re-flash the unit again the next time we meet.

First Step is to check FSC Code Status and see if any are Status = Cancelled or Rejected.

What Navigation? This VIN is an F45 without factory Navigation option.
