Please help. I backed up my music collection from my 2018 G32 (Id6) to a usb stick. I then restored it on my 2020 G30 (id7). When I play songs from the music collection on the G30 it plays only the first 7 seconds then skips to the song after. I restored the music collection to another G30 with id7 and it worked fine. Dealer says they don’t know what’s wrong. Thank you in advance.

Have you tried using a different USB? Backup the USB, reformat the USB & try again.

I didn’t. But if it worked on another car why wouldn’t it work on mine?

I've had issues like that with USB's in our 2 F10's (I know the G30 may function differently); works in one and not the other. Formatting has always worked.

Yeah, I would agree and glad it worked for you. There definitely could have been some corruption in the meta data.
