Bimmercode exhaust flaps

Hello,

Is there any way to open exhaust flaps via bimmercode?

I know this option is available in bimmerlink but I dont feel like getting bimmerlink just for that option

Thanks in advance!

Sadly no. Just buy any flap control (used) for 100 bugs. Works perfectly fine for me

You need bimmerlink to open the flap. I did it on my 2021 540.

And does it stay open or I need to have the obd connected all the time?

There are other options as well, like an exhaust controller like this:
https://x-ph.com/cg-precision-vsc-2-...nd-controller/
Note that you customize your order by selecting the modes when activated and deactivated via the remote control. (note some retail sellers of this device do not give you a choice, it comes with one default programming choice they have pre-selected for you).

I have no affiliation and have not tried this product yet, but it seems to have a very competitive price, and easier installation than competitors. This one is "plug and play" where some brands require cutting into the wiring harness. The connectors and wiring also appears more weatherproof than others I have seen.

Install instructions: https://speedindustry.com/images/upl...Guide%20v3.pdf

When the app has the exhaust flap open, pull the 7.5A fuse on the far left side of the fuse panel in the trunk, and the flap will stay open indefinitely. After the fuse is pulled, you do not need to have the OBD connector attached, or the app running, to keep the flap open.

It does not stay open on my 2021 540. It'll close as you shut off the car. Only way around it was to open via bimmerlink and then pull the fuse from the trunk that operates the valve. Click the Facebook link below, I have a video posted in the G30 group.

You'll see error in flap actuator: short circuit. Not a big deal, just a harmless error message.
