Remus anyone????

Has anyone successfully received a Remus system in the last few months?

I've had one on order for months now…and apparently the container that was supposed to have 10 Remus systems on it actually had 0. So no clue when (or if) I'll ever see it…

Order placed 12/30/2020. Yes, 2020

After many months of chasing information I have been told that the container arrived at Turn14's warehouse on or about 10/29/2021.

I have asked for updates since then but nothing. It's now been three weeks since the container arrived and I don't even know if my exhaust is there…

I was going to order one but just opted for a custom 3" custom made xpipe..getting it put on Monday.

Any other manufacturers with better luck? Looking at Eisenmann and Dinan now.

Looks like 10-14 weeks on an Eisenmann

Maybe I should start dealing in exhaust systems for M550s - apparently there's a market!

This is crazy! There were apparently supposed to be 10 systems on the container that mine was "on"… and there was ZERO.

Hopefully it wasn't the same container as yours.

It took almost ten weeks (not months) to get my Remus exhaust (cat-back) system in the middle of last year. Needless to say, your vendor hasn't been forthcoming with your order. I really don't understand how can a company operates like that….why don't they just refund you the money instead letting you wait for almost a year.

Remus seems to be full of shit and all the resellers have excuses which probably aren't their fault. I got my Remus exhaust April of this year. We did a group buy with four of us in February. One of the guys still doesn't have his lol. They're a disaster.

I love the exhaust and no issues getting mine but man fuck all the noise and problems there seems to be for others…

It's a popular product and everyone is going by estimate as there are not enough supplies to have it in stock.

Unfortunately, these estimates are not always accurate but they have gotten a lot better the last few months

Hah it's far worse than that. While I love to watch drama unfold I feel like I am far from making drama or being dramatic.. but this stuff with Remus is next level stuff IMO. Like I said.. mine was delivered ahead of schedule and was perfect but all kinds of problems for others. Literally engaging Remus directly so they know someone has paid in full in February and they cannot get them an exhaust by November. it's absolutely insane. I thought it might have only been a fault with the reseller at first but I've seen other people run into other issues. If it was a supply chain issue then they should have a back order of no one else receiving anything since April. It would have been made right and remedied by now. The whole thing is jacked. It's so egregious I basically feel compelled to write these responses despite it not impacting me one iota.

Actually if you dont mind confirming this or not since you work with them -- at one point one of the guys in the group buy was told Remus USA basically closed up shop out of no where and that was some kind of debacle. Thanks -- I was going from memory. otherwise I'd have to go back like 2500 messages in FB messenger to find it lol. "Far from smooth" sounds like an understatement at that. I saw a lot more comments and feedback that I think I would consider private and don't want to air laundry but I feel like some of the response and efforts have been pretty absurd.

not familiar with the 78642 address

the Reno address was REMUS USA address (the US distributor). REMUS out of nowhere decided to shut down that distributor and cut ties with them. They moved to another distributor since then and it has been smooth

problem #1
customers that were waiting on their orders from the first distributor as REMUS pretty much cancelled their pending orders and now it was up to your vendor to find another source ( at the time the new distributor had not received their stock to fulfill cancelled orders).

i am proud of the work we did as we used international distributors and paid for international shipping out of pocket to get the exhausts to our customers asap. Some delays were non-avoidable but vendors played a big role during this phase and it made it clear who the good vendors are

problem #2
existing customers with warranty requests have to now deal with REMUS Austria directly and the process is not as easy or fast as dealing with your US vendor
