Can anyone tell me what this update do?
when i go to bmw update and type in my vin, i get this update, but is it for idrive or something else?

Are you getting this from connected drive logon or elsewhere?

This doesn't sound like the right thing for the g30

Can you supply a screen shot of where you are getting from to clarify?

I think this is probably a bug, surprised you can down load it as it looks like the Bluetooth phone compatibility software for the previous model, the f10. Remember applying similar on the f10 but I didn't think they continued with this for the g30

I wouldn't worry about it to be honest

AP is correct. It might update some of your phone modules. Won't hurt to try.
