My 2017 540ix drives on 245x35 + 275x30 rft. As for the size, in Czech Republic we are only permitted to use tyre sizes listed in the carīs technical documents. Non obedience will be rewarded by roadworthiness certificate being detained by the police. In case of accident the insurance companies may refuse to pay compensation due to improper tyre size, too.
I do not consider changing rfts for ordinary tyres for several reasons: - suspension designed for rfts - no spare tyre in car I bought a tyre repair set which can fix a puncture unrepairable by a spray (plus allowing a longer drive to tyreshop for repair) but I have not used it yet. |
