Is there anyone else that prefers the front end of Pre-LCI and back end of LCI?
I love the traditional bmw headlights and I wouldn't mind the meaner tail lights of the LCI. The LCI headlights feel like they belong on the new Toyota Avalon.

Not me. Having now seen a saloon and estate at my dealers, I prefer the pre lci.
Not enough to put me off buying the car though. I Aliso don't like the idrive screen , looks even more out of place. |

Same here, I'm glad I got my 2017 model pre-LCI! It's still a handsome car, just that pre-LCI looked more mature. |

I do not like the LCI front and back and furthermore cannot stand the wheel selection! However the Remote Engine Start, Remote Software Upgrade and real Live Cockpit Professional instead of Lite are definitely things I wish I had on my 2020. For those of you who like the Soft Close Door option, it is no longer available on the 2021, boooo boooo

I will miss the iconic BMW round headlights, but I’m a big fan of the LCI styling, front and back.
There are a couple of other things that bother me (particularly that they are slightly down on power in the UK compared to the pre LCI, due to the new particulate filter), but I’m completely fine with the appearance of it. |

I like the pre-LCI look especially the angel eyes. I hate the new weird headlights that are just lines, so Lexus or Volkswagen like. BMW is changing design for the sake of making changes, not because new design look better than the old.

The M-Sport I like the new one better, although it is a subtle difference. The non M-Sport the front on the new one is a big step backwards.

I prefer the pre LCI grille, and both head and tail lights. The pre LCI grille just looks more classy which I prefer than the more in your face LCI grille. The pre LCI light design is uniquely BMW. The LCI headlight looks like a VW/Toyota and is not BMW specific design.
That said it isn't something that will prevent me from purchasing the car like the 4 series grille but imo BMW needs to evaluate designs to make the car immediately identifiable as a BMW rather than slap something on that just makes the car newer looking. The headlights on the new 3 and 4 series are better and more easily BMW identifiable and would have been a better choice. |

Yes, I prefer the front end of the pre LCI, but prefer the tail lights of the LCI. Our 2020 330i has the new tail lights and they look very sharp.

No matter what, soon you will feel the pre-LCI front looks outdated... and the new one will grow on you. As certain as death and taxes.

I like the tail lights on LCI, but headlights on pre-LCI are better except I wish they came with the shadowline trim eyelids. The new headlights DRL look like a VW or Toyota like someone else mentioned.
