Jimmy G could not make a play. Congratulations to Andy Reid on his first SB ring!

I thought Jimmy G did ok. The Niners D blew coverage on two vital plays and it cost them.

Yep. The niners did well and could of taken that. Got mahomes to throw 2 picks. Not the greatest thing since sliced bread.

Niners Fd themselves by NOT sticking to what was working earlier... RUNNING THE BALL. The best way to win against a great QB, Mahomes, is to keep the ball out of his hands.
this loss is square on Shanahans shoulders. Just like that blown Atlanta Falcons loss in that epic meltdown against the Patriots.

Disagree. KC would stop the run like they did with Titans’ Derrick Henry. 49ers needed to come out slinging the ball. Make KC respect the passing game and then run it down their throats. Instead, they stuck to the same shit of run, run, and run. And that didn’t work out too well.

The big turn-around play was Sherman getting smoked by Watkins.

You could see it in Sherman's eyes...he done f*cked up.

once again, Shanahan goes away from his playcalling and tries to put the game away by throwing.

Up 10 in the 4th, calls 11 passes and just 4 runs. and 7 of those passes were incompletions that stop the clock. Up to that point, they were averaging over 6ypc. and even when they did run in the 4th, they averaged 7ypc. The Chiefs were not stopping the run effectively.

I bet he's getting roasted on Twitter. I think I read he had some type of "beef" going on in that platform a few weeks ago.

Yeah Revis will be all over that, you know that !! They can’t stand each other one with a bigger ego then the other. Though Revis was always the better corner assuming there in their primes.

Jimmy G is damn good. But Mahomes is on a whole other level. He's just incredible. I've never seen a QB who is such a constant threat for a long yardage run.

hes got an MVP and a SB win in his first 3 years

Not to mention these playoffs he was able to dig his team out of double digit deficits to win.

Im not sure what else you need him to prove.

Um Russel Wilson comes.to mind, easily as mobile earlier, more accurate, superbowl early and rookie of year and so on. Not gonna crown him greatest thing ever either.

By all accounts, Patrick is "extraordinary". And is deserving of any and all accolades he is getting. I've watched him since entering the league. He is an exceptional athlete. Not just physically but mentally and maturity is way above his age. I can see him becoming a one of the greatest. My opinions are being echoed by many if not all current analysts some who are previous HOF players themselves. The kid is super special.

you could see he was special in college. i still have nightmare of that OU vs TT games where he put up 700yds and 5tds

i mean, mahomes won mvp in his "rookie" season. he passed for 5kyds and 50tds ffs. only 13 times has someone passed for 5k yds, and only 3 50tds+

mahomes vs wilson accuracy? mahomes is more accurate so far (and was more accurate his 1st 2 seasons compared to wilson), but its within a percentage or 2 so negligible.

Mahomes has arm talent that wilson doesnt have though, while wilson is more mobile.

its still too early to crown mahomes as the greatest thing ever, but his current trajectory has him surpassing everyone. Unless he completely falls off a cliff, he is going to be in the top 10 all time convo easily. I dont see wilson ever getting to that point. He isnt a prolific passer.

Yep depends what stats you look at Wilson is 3rd most tds in first 8 seasons with less than half the interceptions of the other 2. Throws best deep ball in nfl. Beilive he was only one hitting deep targets in this years probowl challenges.

Juat dont like the overhype too early in anyone career. He did throw 2 kicks also and should have lost the game if niners hadnt shit the bed.
