They should make full housing with direct air feed of cold air. With proper protection from engine bay heat.
Wait till it get really work your car will loose some bhp... The better stable cold air the better throttle response is and car drove a lottt better. |

I got an AEM from 4wheelonline. It's a pretty good intake, and I like the fact that it has a dry filter. I can't tell any difference in power but there's a noticeable improvement in throttle response.

It's not terrible, but I expected that something supposedly specifically designed for this model would fit better. I've only done a few hundred miles since I fitted it and haven't noticed any negative effects. This is the only pic I have of it fitted: 540i (G30) BMS Intake View post on imgur.com I don't think it looks out of place in the engine bay |
