10% off is a good deal, but you might not get to 10% off so early into MY20.

Has your dealer told you about 530 allocations for MY20? Some are saying production begins September for 530 and 540. I haven't confirmed.

I have asked 8 dealers in the South Florida area to give me a price and nothing yet. They wont even commit to giving me a % off MSRP even though they have the 2020 figures.

Just picked up my M550 yesterday in SoCal. Got 9.4% before $6,500 in rebates for an effective discount of 17.4% off MSRP.

Did minimum drive-off of $2,100.

I will also be sending in for my BMWCCA $1,000 after sale rebate.

Sweet! Many congratulations on the excellent car.

Custom ordered or picked off the lot?

Thank you! Love the car! There were no more allocations when I went to order a 2019, so they agreed to do a dealer trade if I found something that I liked in the SoCal area.

Your post is implying they can't afford any kind of monthly payment. These are decent deals.

I was able to only get 7.5%. I checked around to several dealers in the area and found it hard to negotiate without any programs out yet. Car is sitting at port in Germany waiting to be assigned to ship.

Did you figure it out and get your car ordered? If not, I have someone you can talk to. Your desire to order individual paint does complicate the negotiations a bit.

Before you pickup, you might want to review those figures using the leasehakr calculator.

You say $5000 down, is that all a cap cost reduction or are some $ inceptions such as first payment, security, prepay on other fees, etc?

What is clutch and break coverage? Why do I need it? Do you expect to wear out the breaks? If so, isn't it covered by free maintenance?

Apparently, brakes/brake pads used to be covered under regular warranty, but they no longer are. I think they changed it a year ago or so.

I wouldn't expect to wear out the brakes in 3 years especially if it's a lease and driving < 12,000 miles/year. You'd probably need to replace the brake pads at least once, however, depending on your driving habits and what type of driving you mostly do.

Thank you. However I am surprised the break pads would not last more than 40-45k with average driving....

Wow, there are some impressive deals that some people have shared.

I don't seem to be able to get such a good discount. Right now, the best I'm seeing is about $10K off MSRP on a low-option 2019 540, and that's before they slam back their b.s. $800 dealer doc fee. And before my CCA rebate, which I don't count as part of the negotiation.

Of course, I'm also not eligible for the corporate discount nor the conquest since I already own a BMW.

I am open to suggestions.

I negotiated $11K off for my MY2020 530e which I think is a good deal (this is before ANY discounts or rebates or anything else like conquest). Since it is a MY2020 there isn't much incentives coming from BMWNA (those will hit in a few months is my guess).

So I'd say $10K off before any rebates and other discounts (like BMWCCA) is an OK deal. As you can lump in about another $4-5K in BMW Summer rebate and BMWCCA to sweeten it a bit. Though I would try to see if you can get anything extra since you're helping the dealer to clear 2019 stock to make room for 2020s. Another $5K would make me happier.

Many here have been posting numbers that lump in rebates and savings so their savings numbers are artificially higher.

Starting with 2017 model year BMW reduced scheduled maintenance from 4 year / 50K miles to 3 year / 36K miles. They also discontinued covering brakes, wipers and clutch in scheduled maintenance.

For $700, at time of purchase, you can upgrade your scheduled maintenance (ultimate care +) to include brakes, wipers and clutch (if manual). If you choose to upgrade to ultimate care + and keep your car longer than 3/36 you can later upgrade to ultimate care +1 or +2 or +3 or +4.

They even have a new ultimate care scheduled for $899 which upgrades the standard ultimate care from 3/36 to 4/50 but doesn't include brakes, wipers and clutch.

It's a bit of a cluster, but for most people I'd recommend at the very least the ultimate care+ upgrade for $700.. If you don't get it at time of purchase, you cannot upgrade later. And if you drive more than 25K odds are you'll be replacing the rear brakes (why the rears tend to go before the fronts on modern BMW's is a wonder...) and that'll cost you about the same as the plan.

I believe it's DSC and faking the actions of an LSD that uses the rear brakes and causes premature wear.

I've got a deal pending on a 2019 540i lease, 24 months, zero down, $670/month. Seems like a good deal to me (and a fair trade-in as well).

Low optioned car, $61K MSRP.

Does this apply to all of Ultimate Care upgrades? I can't get a straight answer on this...

Can you buy the +1,+2,+3+,4 upgrades at anytime before your 3/36K standard expires?

As my understanding is that Ultimate Care+4, for instance, includes everything in the $700 upgrade in addition to the time extension.

You must purchase the $700 base plan at time of purchase in order to be eligible for the + year upgrades down the road.
