Considering Enkei GTC02. Please check my research

Hi folks

Considering picking up a set of Enkei GTC02. From my research, I shouldn't need hub centric ring as the wheel's bore is 66.5, and the G30's center bore is also 66.5. I should be able to reuse the oem bolts for now (until if I feel I need nicer bolts)?

Wheel spec wise, I should be fine as I'm not going for aggressive fitment, so I'm just going to go with 19x8.5 +27 and 19x9.5 +40 and run 245/40/19 and 275/35/19 tires. Thoughts? Thanks.

An issue might be the hub size of 66.5 mm. That seems small and from my experience with a set of winter tires and rims will not fit. In my case, Tire Rack had to send a larger set of hub centric inserts measuring either 66.6 or 66.7. While a 10th of a mm does not seem much, the wheels would not seat on the 540's hubs. Hopefully, the Enkei's use hub centric rings that can be easily (and cheaply) changed with ones of different sizes. A second thought is seat of the 5 x112 bolt holes. You might want to verify (given the 66.5 bore) if these wheels are intended for a Mercedes or Audi. If that's the case, the seats of the five mounting bolts will be machined for acorn-style mounting bolts rather than the conical ones used by BMW. If so, you must hunt for new bolts and they are rare and expensive. Sorry to throw water on your plans, but the wheels (like anything made in Japan) appear to be very expensive.

first of "acorn style" are conical lug bolts. Ball seat style are common for Japanese wheels and you can find them anywhere. There is nothing rare about lug nuts. You can get them online pretty much anywhere. I have run Japanese wheels on Euro cars for awhile, its not difficult or rare to find them.
