Optional tire wheel and tire sizes

I have a 2018 M550i xDrive with 245/35/20 on front and 275/30/20 on the rear. Not having the best of luck finding a lot of options for studless snow tires in this size. I know 19'a are an option. But has anyone gone down to 18's? What rims and tires did you use?

Thanks

I bought a winter tire set-up using factory Style 619 wheels and 245/45/18 snows. They gave very good results with my M550.

I'm also intrigued with the 619 wheels. In terms of ride quality how would you rate the 619s compared to 19 or 20in setup? Also, I read that the 619s are forged and lightweight. In my SUV, I switched to lighter wheels and 18in (vs 22in stock) and the acceleration felt noticeably felt more responsive. Have you noticed that with the G30? Thanks

I run staggered Conti DWS 19's the other 3 seasons. The ride quality with the runflat Michelin snows is comparable to the non-runflat 19 Conti's. I didn't notice a difference in acceleration between the two set-ups. Of course this isn't as big a difference as between 18's and 22's!
