I have had the car 15 months and the niggling faults are starting to annoy. Initially the fuel filler flap jammed shut and the car was off the road for approx 5 days. Then at 12 months old, the charge flap jammed shut.

Now at 15 months, the charge flap is faulty again - it is randomly jamming shut but I am driving with the dash warning constantly. Over a 2 week wait for the car to see the dealer and I am also getting a warning that the battery in the key has discharged.

The car is constantly being charged and so the charge flap is open in all conditions for prolonged periods.

Has anyone else experienced these problems?

Yes I have one fault after the others, petrol flap stuck, charging flap stuck

23 months into my 530e, charge twice a day most days, no issue with either.

No faults with my charging nor fuel filler flaps. Owned mine since April 2018
