So Bernie is putting things on hold

How interesting. He's not even close to getting a nomination so the best approach to save face is to have a "heart problem" thereby giving him the opportunity to tell everyone he'd like to go on but "for the good of the country....."

I'm sure Hillary (along with MANY libs) is absolutely thrilled with this situation. She would beat that loose canon Warren for sure and that Kamala person would also be a push over.

The down side is that she would still have to face Trump and I don't think she's got what it takes to win.

I wouldn't put anything past him but I'd like to at least give him the benefit of the doubt here. I hope he goes on to a live a long, non-public life.

Yes, that's clearly the most reasonable explanation here. A 78 year old man who looks like he has 1 foot in the grave and is under levels of stress and a grueling schedule that those of us 40 or 50 years younger would struggle to keep up with, staged a heart problem to save face and duck out of the running. Or maybe, just maybe, the dude's got a heart blockage.

Sometimes, there's actually no conspiracy and things are indeed as they seem.

There's a reason I call them crazy republicans. They always come up with some insane slant to everything.

Poor old guy had a heart attack. No to them it's all a conspiracy

Looks like dude got a heart attack for real. The guy can do the world a favor by just retiring to obscurity. No need for another fake Carl Marx or Robinhood.

It would seem logical that he knows he can never be president. He is running bc he can. Its a way for him to self validate his philosophy?

I lost so much respect for Sanders when he found out the primaries were rigged against him and then still supported Clinton and the party. Now he is back, still with the same party, and it's obvious they are just going to screw him again.

Sanders is a lot of talk, but has no balls. He would be a useless president.

same here but what choice does he have? he can't run as any other party so he has to go with it.

He has enough backers to run as an independent, he wouldn't win, but they are not going to let him win as a Democrat either.

At the very least he would get the independents to 5% in votes, which supposedly gives them better funding in the next election.
