Good deal! I thought I did well at 14.5 off. My car is in paint right now expected finish date 1/20.

very good. 9% dealer discount is the goal here, your 8.5% is not bad considering everything else. enjoy!!

My car will arrive at the port (CA) next week. I should have it in my possession soon after that, and I will post some pictures.

I just purchased a 2020 M550 this week. MSRP $87,065 with the following build: https://www.bmwusa.com/build-your-ow...00j0vg/summary

I paid $68,299 plus taxes ($18,766 discount). I waited to drive the 2020 Audi S6 before making my decision. Not even a close call.

Nice job! How did you score such a deep discount?

Nicely done!

So, I'm curious to read of your impressions of the A6. I test drove one too, and although I liked almost everything about it, there was a deal killer. I'm wondering if others had the same reaction.

I am a former (reformed?) Audi owner, so they are not unfamiliar to me.

What was the Audi deal killer for you? For me, it was the final negotiated price difference ($17,000) between the M550 and the S6 for 2 similarly optioned cars. Close behind that was the fact that the diver assistance aids didn't work as well as the BMW (on the exact same stretch of road 30 mins apart)

The steering. I drove an A6 V6, which is the same as I had before (but earlier series) and it was abysmal. I mean, like horrible, worse than my F10 535i and I think the rental Hyundai I drove two years ago was better.

The salesman put it in "sport mode" which tightened it up and made it better, but it was too late for me.

And of course, my previous A6 had several typical German car electrical gremlins, which made me a little bit wary of getting another one. Yes, yes, BMW has them too, but my BMW dealer actually makes an effort to fix things, whereas the Audi dealer doesn't even try.

Never happened if we don't get legit info...the best I'm seeing is 14% off. The discounts talked about in this thread are off the charts and I will go buy one tomorrow if I knew what dealer this was.

I got a couple of dealers at 8-8.5% discount before incentives.

Dealers are in MD and VA.
