An updated ordering/pricing guide would be useful, but if your order has ZP2+ZPK you'll have all the same features as the old ZPP, and for the same combined price. This was apparently done due a 5DN shortage, so I guess BMW's idea was that splitting 5DN off from the normal Premium package would result in fewer orders for it. I think the impact was more confusing for the 530/540 models where you pick Premium as a "tier" and the difference removal of 5DN was less obvious. |

I am looking to buy a 2019 530e with a MSRP of $65,500. What price should I expect to pay (prior to tax and registration)? $60,000? Is it more economical to lease instead?

Consumer reports: https://www.consumerreports.org/cro/...hing/index.htm I would encourage you to do research on the subject. Leasing may make sense if you own a business and you can tax deduct the use of the vehicle. However for most people, leasing may actually work against them. But like I said, some folks feel very strongly about leasing and swear by it. As far as actual transaction prices on new 530e. Remember that this is influenced by your region. I can suggest start looking into reputable online resources like Edmunds.com True Market Value, to have an idea the actual transaction prices for dealers in your area.

Hey, new to the forum.
I recently placed an order on a 2019 M550i. Was also looking online and saw a bunch of reviews on the M550i. Some of the dashboard have a ring around the speedometer, some with a bigger ring with non digital numbers, and just saw the pic without any rings. Which year is it that have the rings? |

Probably your deal for a nearly $90K car is OK. What's the lease factor like? Why so much cash down? Call me old fashioned all you want. I just don't understand how people drive away comfortable with those kinds of payments hanging over their heads

$960 is partial one bedroom apartment rental money in many areas. Welcome to the 21st century.

My son, who is 25 and just moved out last year, is in a 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment in an "OK" part of San diego and is at 1700 a month. When I was on a work rotation in northern california, I was in a 1 bedroom 1 bath (680 sq feet) apartment in a city called San Mateo, and the monthly payment on that apartment (covered by the company) was 5k a month, furnished etc. It was a corporate housing type of apartment complex, but people could also lease the apartments themselves, and the going rate for a regular apartment there was about 3500 a month. In some places, a mortgage for a "typical" house is 700, in others, its 4k. |

I thought BMW had called off the 540d for the US market?

Nope.. you will need to search the US to see if you can find a 2018 that has what you want, or close to what you want. No 2019 540d, and unlikely to see a 5 series diesel in the US for the foreeable future.

Getting my 2019 540i xDrive delivered by the end of month, curious to know if it's easy to retro fit the fog led light that's deleted as standard equipment for 2019 car. Has anyone done it?

Hello, new to the forum, from San Antonio.
Looking hard at ordering a 540i M Sport. I see there is an Apr credit for $3000 and I am eligible for a Military discount of $500. Any suggestions about other credits/rebates that I might be eligible for? Also would anyone have some experience to share regarding a typical dealer discount? Thanks very much for any tips or suggestions. Best regards from SA. |

Have you spoken with your dealer's service advisor and/or shop foreman to see if retrofitting them is doable and at what cost?

I'm currently in the process of ordering a G30 - 520i in Europe, does anyone know if these MY2019 "now standard" features also apply to European 520i? I'm getting confused about the G30 model years ...
Thanks ! |
