2020 530i Military Price
Looking for some opinions about the below pricing that is being offered to Active Duty Military serving in Germany. Also a follow-up question…is there a general rule of thumb people use to determine the residual value after say 2 years? Is 70% - 75% a safe assumption? My thinking is to purchase this vehicle at this already low price and then potentially sell or trade it in for close to the purchase price when I will have to move again in 2 years.

residual in US or Germany? In any case I would say you should look at the residual on lease vehicle first, would think manufacture usually push incentive so the residual is better than market to start with (though you would have to look at 3 years out minimally)?

I would be interested in the US value since this is also a tax free vehicle and would not able to sell to non-DOD members.
I see a lot of information in the forums about the residual value after a 3 year lease is around 61%...So I guess my estimate of 70%-75% is probably pretty close after 2 years |
