Wheel and Tire Insurance only available at purchase?

I opted out of the wheel and tire insurance with the thought that most of my miles will be highway and the roads are not too bad around me. When the financing specialist went over warranties and coverage he said that I only had the option to purchase them now. In the moment I felt like he was bluffing, but I don't see why he would benefit to lie to me about this. I have 20" wheels and went over a small bump in the road today and noticed my anxiety go up thinking I should have bought that wheel and tire insurance.

Anybody know if I can buy the wheel and tire insurance a few days after my purchase?

like phone insurance, there should be a window. so basically they dont want you to get a damage first, purchase the insurance and claim it right away. i got a broker who does tire and wheel including rash at a great price. ill dm you.

Like the dude told me, 2 things you want to buy is that wheel and tire insurance and ultimate care. I went ahead and got it. 12 tires and 3 cracked rims later ,one of the best investments in this car I could have brought . If you can do it, it will save your pockets
