$5,000 is the cost for individual color option.

$5K is the normal price, however, they gave individual paint as a free option on the 8 series for part of the year.

BMW Individual paint jobs are $1950 if BMW themselves selects that Individual color for that car. If you want a different Individual color, you will have to pay ~$5000.
