I don't really see how €/$2200 extra matters on a car for €/$ 72000 (540iX)
The standard metallic is €1100.. Only alpine white is "included"

There are 2 things you see everyday from outside of the car. The paint job.. and the rims..
For me it's absolutely worth it, IF I really like that color.

I just took delivery of my 530e M SPORT in Azurite Black - with Black Wheels, Kidney Grilles. Simply STUNNING.

The 3 pics attached really show the colour under cloudy and sunny conditions. It looks like a different car!

The colour makes the car looks extremely expensive. If I were you I would find it extremely difficult to part with it. Congrats

Some OEM wheels cost £4000.00 to £5000.00. So it is worth it if money is not an hindrance.

I can't wait for my wife's Azurite 550 to get here. It is half way across the atlantic right now headed for the Panama Canal. I have it in writing that the dealership will not touch it once off the truck. I will be driving it home and taking all the shipping protection off, correcting anything that I can find in the paint and sealing it all up and ceramic coating the wheels. Should take me about two days to get it perfect.

Anyone interested in the best way to take care of these dark colors should head to YTube....there is a ton of information to find on the best way to take care of our paint. The wife currently has a Jet Black 535 and I corrected it to near perfect with two days of work and it looks better than showroom fresh.

obsessed garage has the best products available in one web location and a great YTube channel for learning how to do it all....

How different is it from Carbon Black? I have never seen the two side by side. It looks quite similar although maybe Azurite is a little lighter on the blue. I like the look of Carbon Black which is also black under some light and a deep blue in direct sunlight. Had it on both my 5s, the 2010 and the 2019. To my eye they are close enough that I could not justify the extra cost for Azurite, but it sure does look nice in these posted pictures.-Bob

In my opinion with only seeing one black azurite 550 before ordering I would say Carbon is more blue, more often. Black Azurite is more Royal blue (and can almost look a little purplish which I don't necessarily care for...but its rarely like that)....Azurite seems to be more black more often....
